支援非華語學生的中文學與教
本校將按「中國語文課程第二語言學習調適架構(非華語智障學生適用)」有系統地按需要為非華語學生進行教學調適,循序漸進,發展適合學生的中文課程,加強支援非華語學生學習中文。此外,更會運用教育局額外撥款購買促進非華語學生學習中文的網上電子故事書及中文圖書。在語文及德育課,利用中華文化的德育故事,培育學生品德情意,以助學生在各方面學好中文。
本校舉辦多元文化活動,例如﹕農曆新年醒獅及新春團拜活動,讓學生及家長體驗中華文化的節日及習俗,建構共融校園。提供學校通告的英文版本,並舉辦家長日、家長講座等相關活動,藉此加強與非華語學生家長的溝通和家校合作。
Support for Learning and Teaching Chinese for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students
Our school will systematically adapt the Chinese Language curriculum for NCS students in accordance with the "Adaptation Framework for Learning a Second Language of the Chinese Language Curriculum (for Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Intellectual Disabilities)", so as to develop a Chinese Language curriculum suitable for students in a progressive manner and enhance support for NCS students in learning Chinese.
Furthermore, additional funding from the Education Bureau will be used to purchase online e-storybooks and Chinese books to promote Chinese language learning among NCS students.
In Chinese Language and Moral Education lessons, we will make use of moral stories from Chinese culture to nurture students' moral sentiments in order to help them learn Chinese well in all aspects.
The school will organize multi-cultural activities such as the Chinese New Year Lion Dance and the Chinese New Year Party to enable students and parents to experience Chinese cultural festivals and customs and to build an inclusive campus.
English versions of school circulars are provided and relevant activities such as parent days and parent talks are organized regularly to enhance communication and home-school cooperation with NCS students’ parents.
